INCH and the ECHOES was formed in the late 1950's while Tom "Inch" Lombardi, Earl "Shorty" Fauerbach and John Bronico were attending Phillipsburg (NJ) High School. They started out playing rock n' roll at teen dances and local night clubs. Then, they teamed up with the Lou Reda Agency and performed at numerous college campuses throughout the northeast United States. Glenn "Pete" Fishbough joined the group in 1962. The group disbanded in 1963.
In 1968, Inch, Shorty and Pete reunited as part of the Fantastic Dudes. John continued his vocal career with a local group, the Crystals.
In 1971, Inch joined Jay & the Techniques, who had several hit records including: "Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie" and "Keep the Ball Rollin". Pete joined the Techniques in 1973. They toured throughout the country until 1974.
In the late 1980's, Inch and Shorty reunited to perform with local group, Lucky 7. The creator and lead singer of the group, George "Lucky" Lloyd, was also co-founder of Jay & the Techniques. Inch and Shorty left Lucky 7 in the late 1990's. Inch then joined local group, On Fire, with Ron Goosley, another member of Jay & the Techniques.
In 2006, Inch, Shorty and John reunited to perform at their 45th high school reunion. At the end, everyone said, "go public", so they did. Pete joined the group in 2007.
Now, "INCH AND THE ECHOES" are back performing all of your favorite hits from the 50's into the 70's for your listening and dancing pleasure.
